Former Azkals coach Simon McMenemy has lost his job as manager of a
Liga Super Indonesia team 16 games after taking over the post.
In a report posted on Soccer Central,
the Indonesian team, Mitra Kukar, explained that the British coach did
not meet the management's expectations, thus “the need to terminate his
services.”
Mitra Kukar is currently 4th in Liga Super Indonesia with 27 points.
The team wants at least a runner-up finish this season.
McMenemy was credited for steering the Philippine Azkals to the semi-final round of the AFF Suzuki Challenge Cup in 2010.
